2020 Carers Week Online Exhibition
Camden Carers are delighted to launch the 2020 Creative Carers Collective Art Exhibition. This year, due to Covid-19 restrictions in lockdown, we have gone digital! All our technological abilities have been tested and we are very grateful to Richard Blades for his continuing support of the art group, and for curating this wonderful exhibition - thank you!
HRH The Princess Anne visits Camden Carers Service, Feb 2020
Every year we mount an exhibition celebrating all the amazing work that CCC creates - and this year is no different. Like so many people, we have had challenges and highlights. One of the highlights was the visit to Camden Carers at their offices in Charlie Ratchford Centre in February 2020, by HRH the Princess Anne. HRH delighted everyone present with how she engaged with them and she spent quite some time looking at our art exhibition and talking with carer-artists about their work. At the end of her visit, carer Jessica Buck and art tutor Richard Blades presented HRH with a special gift from the group, which she was clearly delighted with. You can see photos of the visit in the gallery too

CCC Anniversary Exhibition 2019, Charlie Ratchford Beginning 8th July
Our most recent exhibition was a creative celebration of Camden Carers Centre’s 25th anniversary! The exhibition also celebrates the 10th anniversary of Camden Carers Voice and the 5th anniversary of the Creative Carers Collective Art group. It was our largest exhibition to date and this year we decided to hold our annual exhibition at our home, the Charlie Ratchford Centre. The exhibition features artwork created over our 5yrs together, from members past and present. Featuring Paintings, drawings collage and sculpture, all created by Carers. We are also excited to exhibit artwork created by Young Adult Carers, CCS staff members and new Art made in our sister Carers Art Group at 1A Arts.
The opening event took place on Mon July 8th and we had a great turnout. The exhibition will remain up for the next few months so we invite you to come and have a look. It will be open during Camden Carers office hours 9-5 Mon to Fri.

The exhibition was a huge success, a big thanks to all the artists who exhibited and helped to make this happen. The venue was amazing and a big thanks to Maxine and the staff at the house Raising awareness of carers and caring is integral to our exhibitions. Every artist is unique and you can see this reflected in the work.
